My approach is rooted in empathy, clear communication, and a commitment to meeting patients where they are. Healthcare isn't one-size-fits-all, and I strive to provide support that feels human, not clinical. My journey in the medical field began at the age of 19 when I started working at the front desk of a healthcare facility. My dedication and interpersonal skills quickly earned me a promotion to lead medical assistant, where I thrived on connecting with patients and understanding their unique stories. This experience deepened my passion for healthcare, prompting me to enroll in nursing school with aspirations of working in the ICU. However, my path took a heartbreaking turn when I lost my mother to a sudden stroke. Despite navigating this profound grief, I remained committed to my medical education and continued to work as a registered nurse during the challenging times of the COVID pandemic. I provided care through telehealth platforms for medical cannabis patients, which reinforced my belief in the importance of personalized care. Ultimately, I pursued and obtained my Master's Degree in Nursing from Davenport University through their accelerated Family Nurse Practitioner program and have since worked in the subacute rehab/LTC communities - recently developing a passion for optimizing patient wellness and BHRT. I look forward to connecting and building long-term and trusting relationships with you all!
Hello, my name is Kati
I have been working as a medical assistant for over 12 years after graduating from Anne Arundel Community College. Most of my experience has been in family practice and occupational health. For fun I enjoy playing guitar, kayaking and dancing. Throughout my career I noticed many practices were more focused on the quantity of patients they see instead of the quality of care provided. I am so thankful to be part of a team where quality is always first and patients are granted longer appointment times to receive the care they really need.
